We made it! Lukie turned six months old on the 3rd, but because we had just finished traveling, we decided to wait until Tuesday the 7th to celebrate. We had spaghetti and coconut pie, and took our pictures!
I can't believe this kid is already half a year old. He's so much more fun, now, too. He babbles and giggles, he kicks and screams, and absolutely loves anything to do with being moved through the air; he loves to be tossed and swung and spun around.
Happy Six-Month Birthday, Little Lukie! We love you!
Here is the pie picture this month:
It's not a great picture of Pete or or me, but we're not the stars of the show, really. (Oh, and we switched out the quilts.)
And here are his chair pictures. I can't believe how much he's grown up!

AND....
Six!!!
I wish now that I had used a tripod and marked my spots so I could get the angles the exact same way every time... but still, I'm so glad I started taking these early. This kid is almost unrecognizable from his first few photos!
An outtake that's too cute not to use:
And finally, the thing I promised a week or so ago when I updated...
We recreated one of Pete's childhood photos when we were home. Lukas is in the same outfit, in the same chair, on the same tile floor...and with much the same expression. It's true, they look alike...but to all of you who say he's a carbon copy, I submit this in evidence that he looks a LITTLE like me. I'm busy trying to figure out how to copy one of my childhood photos, as well. That'll be a great blog post, if I can do it.
Here you go....
And I'll leave you with that.
The end.
